I have my reasons (which are a bit too deep for this forum) but it would mainly be for companionship, to share things with and to grow old with that person.

Not a lot of answers here.
I just want someone to come home too.
Never really had anyone like that would be nice to finally have someone that loves me and greets me when I come home

Thats a great topic because tbh... I never felt that need....other than for sex lol
Maybe I am an asshole but girls piss me off, i dont want them to be all over my business dragging me down and I really dont wanna get married or be in a relationship atm.
for companionship all I need is my friends, and my dog. I never felt lonely or anything I just wanna have fun.

but that's okay I guess it's who you are.
And I as well don't really want to get married unless the girl herself says it is as a sign to show people that she's my property. and that totally sound fucking wrong O.O
And I never really feel lonely just annoyed by coming home to nothing ... nothing like no person, no food, no smell, no kiss or a cuddle .... okay maybe I do feel lonely onces in a while XD

I've noticed a lot of guys are like that, mostly because I'm not. I do want a serious relationship and someone to share my life with. I love coming home to someone too!

It's loneliness and a bit of jealously thrown in. You see friends and even strangers have successful relationships and you wonder why you have so much trouble in finding the same.

^ that's probably true but what's even worse the people that know me, like friends, family come to me asking for advice on what to do with their relationship. Apperently I give great advice and even today my friend told me straightforward that my advice helped him out so much but he couldn't commit fully to it but now he's still good friends with the girl and doesn't feel to awkward to be around her. She loved him and he didn't really want a relationship that much atm.
And then you have me .... I've been single for 11 years now ... I have had quite a number of chances but never really felt like any girl was the one for me.
And Vampire_neko on what did you say a lot of guys are like that? On the part that they all just want sex? O.O
