I'm surprised no one mentioned Aizen from Bleach o.o He was a strong, intellegent and sneaky butterfly. What else does a villain have to be D:

be it anime or American comics The Joker is my all time favorite villain. His laugh pierces you like knives. But other than him I would say tyki mikk from D. Grayman

Kitsunekouta, that is a coincidence because both light and shishio are played by the same actor in the live action kenshin and deathnote films! Anyway favorite villans, knives from trigun, shishio from kenshin, sensui from yu yu hakusho, orochimaru from naruto. As for american cartoons, definetly julian robotnik from sonic satam.

He's technically not a villian...but Slaine from Aldnoah.Zero, god I hate that guy...they should have whipped him more...
