worst anime ending (Anime has to be good but ending sucked)

It might sound crazy, but I didn't like how Death Note ended. The first arc with L was amazing. The second arc with Near felt like they were just milking it. L > Near because L's logic didn't feel contrived like Near's. By itself the second arc was good, but not near as good as the first in my opinion. To me it's the worst because it took something amazing and made it less amazing. If the two arcs hadn't been part of the same anime (or at least the same season), it would be moot.

@KitsuneKouta I agree with you on Death Note, I loved it overall but the 2nd arc was just kinda of let down compared the the 1st arc with L which was amazing. @Mokona Romeo and Juliet just sounds horrible lol @mamashipedro yea Soul Eater's anime ending was horrible in my Opinion I'm surprised this thread is alive lol, thought it was gonna die out after 3 days

I figure I ought to do my part and keep some activity going. Looks a little slow at the moment, but I may hold out a while to see how it goes and randomly reply to some recent threads. Another ending I thought was terrible was 11eyes. It was a mediocre anime to start with, then they ruined it with the last few episodes. One of the worst I can think of.

hmm never seen 11eyes but I'll steer away from it lol I can't think of any bad anime endings to good animes, I'm gonna start a thread for bad manga endings to good mangas (That already ended)

Oh, I just thought of a good anime with a bad ending actually. I re-watched Rurouni Kenshin last year (never finished it on Toonami years ago), and found that while the whole Shishio arc was amazing, the show later got killed by fillers. Everything after the Shishio arc paled in comparison, and it spiraled downwards until mundane filler was literally all they showed before it ended. It had lovable characters, but gave up on a story.

Fucking soul eater. I had such high hopes, because the first episode was bad ass! The battle was great! So, I expected the ending to be a huge battle with awesome dramatic kills! And it turns out, bravery is the best weapon of all..-.- Huge let down..
