Girl Gamers/Otaku

wow jfc boys have such high standards :)) so 1, the girl has to be hot 2, the girl has to be an otaku/gamer/both and now 3, the girl has to pass the entrance examination? Next thing you know, we're required to pass our resumes oh wait, our facebook profiles could count.

yeaaa it REALLY is douchey when guys... well, anyone, IMO, sets really high standards for dating a person :\ I know for me personally, all I ask for is for loyalty, and a sense of humor. IDK, i guess, guys look for gamer/otaku girls more because they want to find someone with common interests, but then it turns into a stupid shallow "screening."

I want someone attractive because I deserve it - Not being egotistical just been through hell with all the wrong people. I'm tired of it - I'd like to get someone attractive whether they are gamers or not. Most gamer girls I met are pretty but taken. Most otaku women though ... - Out of fear of persecution I dare not touch that subject since I am after all on an otaku dating site.

xueli - The reason men interrogate - I mean "question" lady gamers or comicers? Or manga readers - is due to being dicks. In their mind it's totally ok for a woman to cosplay half naked and not know anything about the character she is dressing as. BUT it's totally inappropriate for a normal woman (a woman that doesn't flaunt her ass about the place in tight/ revealing clothing) to claim she is a fan of any of these fields. I don't understand that. It's funny cause most of them claiming to be looking for them to date - Are often standoffish in their initial approach - Instead of casually engaging in conversation to make a connection.

I don't hold the fact that some girl gamers don't know, If they don't i will just tell them. Saying they aren't gamers is stupid plus we have to remember the gaming universe expands everyday with new people. I have no room to talk i'll tell you because i didn't know the NES or Atari that much, Am i any less of a gamer no. Simply i would want to know because that's expanding my gaming knowledge. It always boils down to being serious or a really good hobby you would want to gain some knowledge on.

The ones that you tell the information to and then throw it away like last weeks garbage is what annoys me, Why ask if your not interested ya know?

I honestly don't care if a girl likes video games or anime- just as long as she doesn't have a problem with ME liking them.

"Just spent the rest of my money on WoW stuff because fuck real life" FB post that was in my feed a week or two back. So yeah, I'd agree about WoW there. Boring as heck too to me hah.
