What is love worth?

Love means different things to different people thus it's value is dependent on the persons definition of the word Love. So the question you should really be asking yourself is not your definition of Love...but theirs.

By my definition of love no I wouldn't, because it isn't worth it. For me it just seems unreasonable for someone to ask me to compromise my needs or dreams of the future. I wouldn't ask someone to give up something fundamental to them, it's what makes them who they are; sacrificing those values, those needs isn't love...at least that's how I see it.

I think I dont fully understand the question yet. SOmething fundamentally important can also be the woman you love. It can also be your career, your favorite sword or a memory. I understasnd nthat you want to know other people' mopinion on this matter and what they would do. But I think it is strongly dependent on the exact situation. You wont find an answer anywhere if you havent seached inside yourself first. Also I never considered myself a troll. I just wanted to know whether i seem like one by the way I type.

I wouldn't sacrifice anything for love. Simply for the fact that you shouldn't have too. If I am correct to assume that is what the original question is. Kind of hard to follow when topics change. :) Love is not a absolute thing. You can change loves. Like loving a person, you can lose love. Or end up falling in love with someone else. Or in extreme cases, they die. Why sacrifice anything, if love can be taken away at anytime. Good question though, I wouldn't mind debating this one day. ^.^
