I hear Rosetta Stone is very helpful but I've never used it myself lol It does have an interesting speech pattern, and also in Japanese there are many dialects so idk which would be more difficult :P lol

aw cool, no problem always glad to help a fellow otaku, im surprise you know so many non mainstream animes like eyeshield 21, I thought for the longest time im the only one who's heard of it LOL, I love lucky star too, well almost any anime with painfully cute girls i love. konata is my dream girl ^_^

Practice makes perfect, as the saying goes, the more you try at it the more familiar it becomes to you and will be easier to memorize and learn. :) I find Japanese much easier than Chinese, it has a more rhythmic pattern to it but more extend as a language, they like 3 alphabets and many words can't translate very well :P lol

Yeah I've played em all! its great series. can't really say I approve of the approach they did with the movies though lol.
