Heh, I've messed up more dishes than I can count. A cleaning business sounds interesting, though I can only imagine how back breaking it is. It's amazing that you own it with your mother. I can only hope to own my own business one day. I kind of want to tell you the premise of one of his stories, but at the same, it's better if you find out on your own. If it's any consolation, the main character gets his shit fucked up a lot because of hos bratty he is. Every other character is great, and eventually he grows into his own niche too. The funny part is, I think they've been upgrading the site. You'd think they get the memo to upgrade the most important part.

Ah, yeah, it's easy to kill time there. I've been going there since I was a little kid, and it's always interesting to see how it changes. I'm a terrible cook, so I envy your skills. Where do you work at? I'm a cashier myself. Nothing exciting, but it's something. I'll have to check it out some time. I love psychological thrillers myself. Have you ever read Junji Ito? His work is really scary and well-drawn. Shintaro Kago is also pretty good, though he's more grotesque than anything. Eureka Seven is kind of hard to get into (because the main character is really whiny for the first half,) but it's really good towards the end.

Big ones would have much more swag to buy, and probably better guests too. But seeing and maybe cosplaying would be my main reasons to go. There's a small import shop inside of the Lloyd Center mall called Morning Glory that has a lot of cute stuff. Tons of origami and plushies, and I think some other things like keychains and jewelry. Nothing too great, but whenever I go there, I just get japanese candy. I know Perfect Blue is an older movie, but I haven't seen it. I did read Ibitsu though, and that was really good, very scary in a lot of parts. The ending was confusing as it was disgusting though lol. My favorite anime is Eureka Seven, and my favorite manga is Liar Game. I love mangas with mysteries or games with tricks. Kaiji is one of my favorites too.

You're probably right about cons, but I'd still like to go to a small one before going to a big one. Experience and all that, so I'm not lost the minute I set foot in one. I've heard so much about the japanese stores and gardens, but I never had anyone to take me haha. I'm starting to think they're an urban legend here, but I'll take your word for it that they exist. I live in NE Portland, and I heard Fuubon or however it's spelled is somewhere in SE? What's your favorite anime and manga, by the way? Totally not random there. I might just have to. I could probably ask someone if they know how to replace the string, but I'd like to be able to fix it myself. I just hope I don't break the rest of the guitar. Learning and playing was actually a lot of fun though.

It would indeed be more fun. So many anime cons there. I have yet to actually go to one, honestly. I really want to though. I've been meaning to go to Kumoricon but something always sidetracks me each year. I can't seem to figure out how to replace the strong, though I do have a spare. Videos don't seem to help me either haha. It's a pain ;_;

I've been thinking of moving to Cali. I've always wanted to live in Cali or New York. Yeah, I like manga a bit better too, doesn't take as long and I like seeing the drawing styles compared to anime. I'm sure if you practice enough, you'll learn more songs easily. You're ahead of me, I broke a string after I learned a few chords haha. You wouldn't happen to have a messenger of some sort, would you? Talking to you is nice.

They are quite rare indeed. Makes me wish I lived in Cali, meeting people would be so much easier. I read a ton of manga too! Honestly I read manga a lot more than I watch anime, though I'd probably want it to be the opposite. If ukulele is that fun, I wouldn't mind trading instruments sometime, if you don't mind teaching and learning. Not sure what songs use both instruments though...

No kidding right? I'm actually in Portland, so not too far, but still a while away. We didn't do much either, we had our small get together that we do every year, and that was it. I'm going over to a friends house for new years, and that will probably be it for the holidays. What other hobbies do you have aside from the obvious? Ukelele sounds awesome too, I have an electric guitar that I'm still learning to play.
