A hand planer and my first attempt of my handmade Yosegi-Zaiku(寄木細工). The third pic shows a Japanese carpenter and his Yosegi blocks. It's a little challenging to make these as you'll need a certain Japanese tool to work. Buuuut since I'm not in Japan and buying tools from Japan will cost me an arm and a leg, I had to custom build the tool from scratch(pic 4).
