Well I've had a few experience with online dating so I know which sites to avoid for what reason
aml50
aml50 @aml50 Are there any sites you recommend, free or otherwise?

that is the question i wish i knew the answer to, i'm sure a lot of people would love the answer as well including myself lol ^^
aml50
aml50 @aml50 Hopefully online dating will pan out one of these days, that's about the only tactic I've been using for the last year. From personal experience, don't bother with Plenty of Fish or Kwink. PoF is a glorified sex solicitation service and Kwink has barely anyone on there. I'm broke so I haven't tried any of the pay sites yet, but I might pony up the money one of these days.

yea I understand, waiting around wondering where that special person will turn up gets annoying, but from what I've learned better to wait than to force something
aml50
aml50 @aml50 It's nice to hear someone reinforce my belief in patience, thanks. I just need to figure out the best may to make myself available so that special someone can find me or vise-versa.

I'm sorry i don't really have a lot of female friends here since i'm not from the area, even so i really don't like playing match maker.
aml50
aml50 @aml50 That's fine, I understand, my social circle isn't very large either. Better to ask and get a no, than not to ask at all, or so I've been told. I'm just tired of being patient with the world, you know?

I guess so they where more of learning experiences than anything else, really sucky ones but it's ok i understand
aml50
aml50 @aml50 Well, I guess any experience you learn from is a good experience. Hey, you wouldn't happen to know any single women that might be interested in me, would you?

it's ok I know not every guy is like that, but really made me change how I trust certain people, this happened about 8 years ago. and he wasn't even the worst guy I dated just the second biggest jerks, biggest one is the ex after him
aml50
aml50 @aml50 Is it true what they say, "better to have loved and lost"? I'll admit, on some small level, I don't sympathize because I'm jealous that you've had relationships at all. So I wonder which of us has had it worse in the romance department. Sorry, guess I'm just venting a little.

It's a really long story to sum we had been best friends since high school during said time she would often test my loyalty having her bf flirt with me to see what I'd do than when I tell her what happened she'd say I passed. Well skip ahead to when I went to college long story short my ex had his mom break up with me, he calls me literally 2 days later and ask how'd I'd feel if he asked her out I told him I'd be upset, a few hours later she text me asking what she should do cause he asked her out. Long story short, they went out behind my back when I found out all she said was sorry. I didn't end their friendship over a guy but for the fact that she lied to me and betrayed my trust
aml50
aml50 @aml50 Jeez, it's for reasons like that I take absolutely no pride in being a guy. Not trans or anything, but I often feel like a piece of shit by association. Sorry that happened to you. I don't know what to think of your friend. How long ago was this?

Yea that is true, I used to be like that trusting and always give people benefit of doubt but that changed when my best friend betrayed me so now I don't give my trust so freely I feel like it's something you earn, doesn't mean I won't trust you full just have my guard up until otherwise. And I plan on going to AWA and dragon con I'll preregister in a couple of months, I wanted to go to momocon but might have to pass on that for this year and since I've never been I can't really give anything honest input
aml50
aml50 @aml50 If it's not too personal, or hard to think about, how did your friend betray you?

That's a good plan I think it's always fun when you're the boss because you can set your own rules and do things your way, although I would Ser some kind of price not just for your time but your labor as well, depending on the circumstance I wouldn't let people pay what ever they want. Lol thank you at my old job they let me bake and sale them in the cafeteria they always sold out before lunch was over ^^
aml50
aml50 @aml50 Wow that's cool! Some people might argue that I'm too trusting in people, but I feel like we, as a species, only got this far by trusting each other and a lot of our problems in society stem from distrust. So I live my life by giving everyone the benefit of the doubt and at least a first chance. Are there any conventions you're definitely going to? I'm definitely going to AWA, partly because I already paid for it, and maybe Momocon. 1 person has told me that Momocon is at least as good as AWA and another has said that it's only ok and only has a big venue going for it. What do you think?

O cool so you're the one's we call when we need those tricky technical problems ^^ lol do you know how to add more memory to a phone. And I bake as a hobby but would love to make it a career and to sale some I hope I can this year I want to try sale them at a farmers market
aml50
aml50 @aml50 off the top of my head, i don't know, but I can quickly find out if need be. I've also considered becoming a self employed IT guy for everyday people. My shtick would be that people could pay whatever they can/want for my service. My reasoning would be that different people could have vastly different needs and problems, some of which I wouldn't be able to help with, but my time is worth something. So if I leave it to them to decide, I feel that they would be reasonable and generous. I'd love to sample your baked goods some time X)
