Hacktivist good or bad

I believe it's good in some way. To expose the corrupt and such. It's just these LOIC skids and more are the ones who gives hacking a bad image at times.

I've been a conspiracy analyst for quite a few years now, so nothing that hactivists and whistle blowers are coming forth with these days is particularly new. Snowden? Yeah, I'd been following those theories for a while. All it was to me was affirmation. The panama papers? Again. Already knew all about that. Though of course many of the names were news to me. I'm in agreement with Syn here. I think the exposure of corruption, corporate and financial tyranny, and coverups are something we really need to face and address if our nations are ever going to see anything resembling an "age of reason". We can't just let injustices like MK Ultra, or the mantauk experiments go quietly. But at the same time, I think its naive of us to think that we should know about everything, and there are some hackers that really do more harm than good.

^ I personally agree on that. There are those who do hack take it for granted and make it like it's a game to hurt others. But there are those who hack but they don't go far and just use it for simple pranks. So I can't really complain much but I hate how hacking gotten to a major bad image..

I am 100% for Hacktivism. I think it is one of the few ways the poor, working class can stand up to the rich. Plus, most of those hacktivists are fighting to protect our freedom for speech online. I'm all for it.
