Need some Non-Plastic anime

ceresbane
You know the type. Bread and butter trope heavy, creatively corrupt, foundations built on archetypes and plots so bafflingly nothing you feel bitter that it got a measure of success when you know better stuff is prolly out there. You know those. Yeah can I have titles that are none of that I'm kinda struggling.

Boku no Pico Just kidding there. You should look at Steins;Gate

seen worst. The reputation that has is overrated. But yes steins;gate is a pretty good example. Now if only it had a tuturu filter.

You're looking for something with originality, and deep plot lines: 1)Monster 2)Neon Genesis Evangelion 3)Big O(Probably the deepest anime I've ever seen, if people can really think deeply) 4)Blue Submarine No. 6 5) Blue Gender

Death parade and kekkai sensen were pretty good.

sakamoto-desu-ga titles like these are pretty decent right now. It plays around with the overused archetypes. And its made on a budget. It uses the same kinda formula as assassination classroom. But its not terrible. Because the plot isn't pointing to a singular conclusion (the attempt to kill the alien teacher-hence every joke will be around that). Instead it uses the concept of coolness or kakoi which is far more nebulous and creatively free. It has a decent first episode, not amazing but it shows promise. Using that volley ball scene is genius too. Lets the voice actors have some real fun.
