Should i pick pokemon back up?

As many others i liked pokemon, but i stopped watching the anime some time ago, about the Diamond/Pearl series. I think it was because I lost interest in the characters and the plot. They started to seem boring and repetitive. But recently it seems that the show has improved a bit (catch an episode in TV every once in a while) and i was wondering if I should start watching the show again. What do you guys think, have the show actually become decent again, or am I just imagining things?

I used to enjoy pokemon however I find the newest episodes are quite repetitive in how they are structured (Not sure if it's always been like this). I find pokemon now very dull and in dire need of improvement. That's not to say you will inevitably have coinciding views but are simply my opinions from the newer episodes. Do with this as you will.

You just described basically how i feel towards the show. I got a feeling that the X Y episodes have improved though, so I'm just going to see if anyone can back that up
