I would not mind it. But I would want ot let the children get to know me first and not make them feel like I am trying to push my way into their life. I say it has to be comfortable for all the parties. So I would never shy away from someone who has a premade family but I would not Jump in without taking everyones feelings into heart =) I think that is what I mean to say.. hope it came out right.

Oh Sorry Miss read.. and that all comes down to each individual I would say.. There is no set person type. I would say Someone who cares for you and is willing to take that plunge. So while that is vague and probably not helpful I think it is the way of the world. Everyone is different and they are going to have different feelings on the subject. But I am guessing anyone who cares for that person is willing to do anything to make them happy.

that is a nice and well thought out responce.

When my dad met my mom, she was a single mother (my older brother). He fell in love with her. Well, actually, he got drunk at an Eagles Club and hit on her, but later he fell in love with her. He also loved my brother, which is why I didn't know until I was about 12 that he's my half brother. It was just never an issue in my family, he even took my dads last name. I'm not sure what my dad thought when he found out my mom had a son, but I do know he didn't hesitate, and he's never been anything short of my brothers dad. He's loved, cared for, raised, and continues to be there for my brother, same as for my sister and I. So... Maybe the answer is "someone willing to be a parent as well as a spouse". Not sure if that really answers your question. I guess I'm just trying to demonstrate the kind of person my dad is, to answer the question of "what kind of person".
