Hardest video game you've played?

I agree, the original Mega Man is hard as phuck. So was the very first Final Fantasy. Vampire Savior on max difficulty is hard for me. I'm usually very good at playing my fighting games on max difficulty even without having played them before but Vampire Savior hard as phuck. One of the hardest boss fights I've had was against Ω ID in Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach Zarathustra. Took me an hour straight in a continuous battle to beat Ω ID.

The first Metroid for the NES. I managed to beat it... with some help from a strategy guide. I've played some hard games, but this one left me with the most mental scars. Even after beating it i still have nightmares....

Dragons Lair for the SNES. Dont GameFAQ that shit and try to get past the first screen. The first screen of the game, that's all I'm asking. Good luck.

The Legend of Zelda; Majoras mask.. Getting through the game and temples along with the sidequests withinn the small amount of time you have been given is pretty much impossible xD I did it, But it took many attempts.. Even for a hardcore zelda-gamer like me, MM was lots of struggling with the 3 days deadline to the game..
