Certainly Sega might take a loss with Shenmue, but Sega is too dimwitted to get much right anyway. At this point I'd accept a book in place of a game.

I'd actually trust Sega to do a proper Shenmue sequel despite the state of the company nowadays barring they actually give the team behind Yakuza the reigns. Yakuza 5 just got a VERY good score from Famitsu this last week.
