In one game, my friend had a re-animator deck that just constantly brought back monsters. He played it against my black deck before I turned it into a phyrexia/mortal combat deck, and he just couldn't re-animate his creatures as fast as I was killing them.

Vamps could get that done with the same speed or faster though. :p Which is your favorite deck?

My favorite deck is one that I am slowly in the process of building. It isn't terribly practical, nor does it do much of anything but stall. And it's only got one possible way to win. I call it world piece. All 5 colors. 40 cards that prevent all damage. 4 Stuffy Doll, 4 Pariah, and 4 Obliterate. It's only meant to be played in large games, and for obvious reasons. I just sit there all game preventing anyone from doing any damage. Once I've run out of those, which will be late in the game, I play obliterate and reset the game while everyone has next to nothing left. At any point I play Stuffy Doll targeting who every I like with Pariah on it, so they would take any damage that I would instead. It's mainly a deck to annoy people while I have fun, like my unglued/unhinged deck. And I could of course target myself with Stuffy Doll and Pariah and end the game in a draw.

lolwht. Sounds devious and makes somebody just play green with enchantment destruction. :p I love the ninja decks so I can ninjutsu creatures in. :)

Well there are only 4 enchantments in the deck. And it isn't made to win, just to annoy. But I do like using Phyrexia. It's all based around putting my creatures into the grave for Mortivore and Mortal Combat. If at my upkeep I have at least 20 creature in the graveyard, I win. My friend tried to play a mill deck against it. In one turn he milled everything I had while mortal combat was out. He didn't know what it did at the time, so he thought he had won. While he had a smug look on his face, I asked if it was my turn, then explain what the card did.

Sounds super competitive in your side. Not saying we dont have games like that but milling everything in one turn. More reason for me to say that magic is broken. :D

It can at times, usually only when someone new shows up. We all pull out our best decks and test how good the newbie is. After that it's real casual. It's just that most of the best stories come from the more interesting and complex games.

I see. That is an interesting way to test new guys which makes sense if they have played the game before. :p I think I can relate to that though.

If it's there first time playing, we do take it easier on them and teach them to be skilled players, but if they've played before and are new to the group, anything goes. If they are a newbie, they should be taught and brought up and given a chance to go pro. If they are a noob, they deserve to be humiliated and ridiculed for their lack of skill.

That is one way of putting it. Do you guys have a club or something then or is this just a group of friends?
