Otakus Vs Society

Oh wow what happened in my topic while I was gone? Anyway I'm pretty pleased I'm not the only one around here who has no dislike for society. I was beginning to wonder if I was the only otaku with no real disdain towards society. Also Metaljester a society where Otakus and regular folk can get along would be like a dream come true much like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream of having little black boys & Girls playing with little White boys & girls. It would seem that we share a similar idea to Martin Luther King. Although doing this won't be easy at all, especially since both sides wanna rip each other a new one. Aside from that I wonder if this site can help shape things up a bit for society, also did you guys know the Japanese Society shuns otaku? Otakus at Japanese schools get bullied to death I hear, not only that but if your an adult and into video games and anime such you'll be shunned as well. So now another question arises, where do these societal standards come from?

I know what you mean I know thats a pipe shot like I said but its worth trying and as for japan hating otakus im quite aware of it sadly that will not change easily I wish could do that for japan but it would be incredibly hard to completely unobtainable with how long it has been going on the standards made by nature of our minds

i do hate society cuz of how they treat us, i used to be popular til i got into anime, then my normal friends dumped me and so i was abit of an outcast, but i think i prefer to be with my own even if it means being isolated with them. they judge us and think there so kool and interesting but any one of us is ten times more interesting then them, we can hold up a convo without having to talk about other ppl and gossip. maybe this is becuz of being around teens and how hurtful they r but i dont think ill get treated any better when i graduate. its nice that some ppl dont hate them but this world wood be alot funner is the outcasts were the mainstream

This post kinda makes no sense because we are part of society. Everyone has a view or way of thinking but in the end we are all human. To hate something you are a part of is pointless and a waste of time. People will always agree or disagree that's how it is and may always be sometimes people think their way is better that they are better but they are thinking small. One person is nothing life would be worthless if you had no one to see what you do or what you say. You can be the greatest person alive but it will mean nothing if no one knows about it. So society needs us as much as we need it.
