Ideal bf

Since everyone else seems to be doing this, finally decided to make my own. I'm fairly picky but I can get used to differences and I'd be ok with someone who matches 1/3 or 1/2 of my list. Physical specs -pretty eyes, prefer green or blue -thick/medium thick hair, prefer lighter colors -athletic or slightly rounded build, semi-structured face -cute smile -hair cut looks decent short or med./long -light beard/facial hair or shaves -2-3 inches shorter or above(taller) in height, prefer similar height (I'm 5'5" or 6") -can look good in shorts (not mandatory) -no tattoos or piercings -2 years younger or 4 years older than me, tend more towards same age or slightly older (I will be 22 in December) Wants/social -friendly and fairly social, helpful and mostly polite (can have alone time [being with other friends/family or doing stuff other than with each other] as well as together time without it being a problem) -intelligent, can hold a debate and admire artistic stuff, history, etc. -not fanatic about sports or politics -enjoys similar interests (anime, cosplay, games, food, art, plants, music [rock, pop, some country, folk, Vocaloid, foreign, classical]) -tolerable of my food likes/dislikes (super picky, only vegetables I eat are potatoes, tomatoes, corn, and I can force myself to eat green beans or broccoli [with a pool of ranch dressing] if need be. Trying to be more open and experiment with food though.) -similar sense of humor, can handle light violence (ex. of humor I like: Jim Gaffigan on cake, Shirokuma Cafe anime, Weird Al songs and other parodies, Whitest Kids U Know) -likes animals, esp. cats -doesn't mind my lack of make-up, but enjoys when I try to use it or dress up -can handle children (I'm very kid friendly and like being around friends kids or family, also get told I'd be a good mother) -willing to learn new things or try activities -doesn't smoke and drinks minimally if at all

^^; Thanks. I know I'm pretty specific about wants and likes, but I've gone through several relationships so I sorta know what I tend toward.

I'm glad someone does...women stop talking to me when I ask them "what do you look for in a guy" I've started calling it the convo ender.

Well surprisingly the things we don't match on are pretty big deal breakers. 1. I have 3 tattoo's (only 1 is extremely visible, lord canti from flcl is on my back right calf) then a semi visible one on my right inner bicep. 2. I smoke but not the illegal stuff, drink on occasion. 3. My eye are brown. (Not really a deal breaker though.) 4. My smile isn't the best either, fake front tooth :/, pool accident at age 13. 5. I do watch sports occasionally but only with friends or read about them in the newspaper.

That's no problem. Everyone has a preference on what they like. If she likes white guys more I hardly think it can be considered racist. I like asians and whites, and my best friend loves hispanics. there's nothing wrong with liking one look over another. Now, if you dump someone SOLELY based on their race, that is wrong. But this is harmless me-thinks.

@wolf: yeah, a lot of people don't have the specifics of what they want in a person, they just want someone and will figure out the details later. I wrote this list mostly during a class recently because I was wondering what I would want and what I've learned from experience. @nolongeractive One of my previous boyfriend's had a T-rex on his right forearm and tattoos bother me some. I can tolerate them and have many friends with multiple tattoos, just is not my thing. I don't even have my ears pierced but I keep wondering if I should get the basic earring piercing sometime. Needles scare me (except for sewing) because I had surgery when I was younger and kept getting stuck. I don't freak out when I need a shot or whatever, but I do cringe and turn my face away. I'm ok with brown eyes, just like green a lot because mine are hazel-ish. On sports, I live/go to a college town where football is a religion (Roll tide all over the place, feel awkward when we win and people yell Roll Tide at me and I have to weakly reply in same though I don't watch football). I used to play soccer for several years, so I'm ok with playing some sports, just watching it seems confusing and a waste of time to me. Also, on smoking, my dad smokes and the boyfriend with a tattoo did as well; I find that it makes me cough or have a headache from the fumes and smoke and try to avoid being nearby it if I am able. As far as smile, it's hard to describe exactly what I like about one being cute. I find that I like to find differences in smiles for different situations, like mischevious or extremely happy and bright. I make weird faces so it's fun to pick out when a guy also has certain weird faces that just make them who they are. A signature weird face(s), in short.

I had a half Cuban boyfriend before, our friends in highschool nicknamed him Mex because he looked so hispanic. I find I like some Asians as well. Everyone has preferences. I'm not racist though, I have several close friends of various ethnicities.
