Afraid of real pics

From Canada just joined I noticed no one really has actual pictures of themselves I'm not trying to offend anyone just wondering why people don't use pictures of themselves (don't like there appearance, don't want people to judge them based on appearance, etc.) Let me know also down to talk of you wanna message me

despite the name and branding this is more of a forum board than a dating site... so it makes sense to use more anonymous photos than for say tinder but maybe I'm missing out cause I don't have a pro pic!

My rule of thumb with that is this. If you're just using the site for a social aspect or just looking to talk to some people and make new online friends, then I don't think it really matters too much. If you're actually here to maybe possibly find a relationship on top of that, then I think it's a good idea to have at least one or two pics of you on your profile. That being said, I can totally understand not wanting too as well or at least not showing what you look like until you get to know someone at least a little bit. There are some really shitty people on this site who might try to take advantage of people or create drama. That's just my two cents on it. http://media.ign.com/boardfaces/44.gif
