I'm more on about the bad type of clingy where they have to know where, when, and who you're with 24/7. That bothers me because I like to have some personal space to hang with other friends, my family, or get stuff like homework and sewing done. I seem to tend toward guys that have a charismatic confidence (not over confidence) or really shy to where I have to make the first move to show interest, which I feel sorta weird about because I feel like I come off too strong. I like when the guy has an emotional side and doesn't think he's above everything, someone who's level headed and can handle bad situations without blowing them out of proportion. Some clingyness is good and shows how much you or your partner care and want to be around each other, just not obsessively.

Someone who is humble then? When someone pushes the other pulls, I guess? The only way is to meet in the middle on things, otherwise someone is going to be an unhappy camper, yes they are.

I'm with DokujiSoul...I think he hit the nail on the head with his comment.

Compromise is something that does and needs to take place in many situations. Otherwise it seems like one person is always winning or more right than the other, which strains any relationship.

My kindness is perceived as weakness i guess. I just try to stay humble and want a humble girl in return. I guess thats why i don't like socialite girls who are always vying for attention and acknowledgement, or otherwise justification of what they do and who they are. in this light, i find that those who are generally perceived as "hermits, losers, anitosical" etc are usually more admirable characters underneath.

People have different views a lot of the time, that's why I'm saying they may need to compromise or come to agreement on what to do.
