Is there anyone out there who is Asexual?

Max: I sometimes feel like they just think we’re judging them or something. Then again, America just kinda has that sexual shame thing in its culture that dates back to the English Puritan beliefs in its early heritage. People always just naturally assume they’re being judged for doing that thing humans do here.

Explaining it would be hard. I’d rather avoid the topic or lie and “fit in”. The outside view and expectations is different male/female.

“Yo, there are many different types of attraction, from sensual to sexual. And cause my brain is wired in a certain way, I covet other forms of attraction more than sexual attraction. Doesn’t mean I don’t get urges, and nothing’s wrong with my libido, I just don’t really connect them to people the same way normal people do. Ain’t nothing wrong with that, just neurological chemistry.” Okay, yeah, a white lie is easier, but I’ve come to appreciate the challenge. XD

I'm ace and I have been since 2013. I was in 8th grade when I figured that out. I'm 21 now turning 22 on August 15. For me it does kind of get lonely without a partner. I wish I had someone in my life. Holding hands, watching movies together, travel together, hugging, maybe kissing on the cheek, sounds nice but anything more than that (sexual acts/desires) gives me anxiety. Remember, if someone tells you that you just haven't found someone yet to have sex, tell them this, "If sex without love exists, then love without sex exists too."
