New here, not sure what to expect..

So.. what really goes on here? Just a general talk about anime etc, or does dating and stuff actually happen?

Greetings. General talk and also anime, games etc. Some discuss things in the forums and others directly to the friends they have in here. Dating etc. Well can't really say as that might happen in the private chats that others don't see. No experience on this yet though as I'm relatively new here and my area does not really have many people in this site. Best of luck to you though. Get to know people and send some friend invites to those you seem interesting if you decide to be active. Though try to avoid sending friend invites, especially to new people immediately as they can be bombarded with those at the start and be overwhelmed by it.

In my experience expect great artistic people with seemingly innocent intentions you should also expect the daily "I can't get a girlfriend so girls must suck" topic every month or so but mostly the people on here are surprising smart and creative individuals which is almost something you never see on a dating site that's for sure.

Welcome. It looks like the site mostly acts like a specialized forum, with some dating site stuff thrown in. So Dating stuff can happen, but it's mostly discussion about stuff. I've only been on here for about a day, so I'm pretty new, but I think this was by design, since most anime fans tend to be introverted, and won't want to talk to just anyone. A forum is a way of seeing people interact, without needing to have attention cast upon you, so you can warm up to people without having to directly talk to them.

Alright, seems pretty interesting. Didn't really expect this kind of response, seems very nice here. Time to look around I guess.
