It does not really matter what a person likes if they don't force those interests to others. If a person likes a specific thing a lot, it really is not that bad or uncommon be it sports, music or genres of a media like in this topics case yuri/yaoi. Everyone has their favorite things and to some that is more focused than others. If a person can talk about their interests to people in a way that is not making the listener bothered/annoyed with it then there's no harm at all. And if the listener does not like the topic then talk something else or find someone more suited to your tastes. Thats about it. Personally I don't really mind as I like certain things too that others don't. Main thing is to respect others hobby. Plus I personally like to talk to people or listen to them when they speak what they like (if it's not too overbearing). At those times they are usually happy which makes me smile.
