Just watched the first episode of the Mayfair Witches on AMC. The first episode was named after the first book, the Witching Hour. This was the first Anne Rice book I read, I was like 10 when I read it. I had already been reading young adult books by that time mixed with some Dean Koontz. I though something about witches would be fun. Not only was it a bit out of the typical age range but it was nearly 1000 pages. I thought it was an excellent challenge and promised that I would read it over the summer. I read it in like 3 or 4 weeks. Which, wouldn't be that difficult to do now but, kids my age were reading books that were in the 60-70 pages range and balked at anything over 100. I expect before the end of this show they are going to change something about it but so far it's sticking pretty true to the origional novel. https://youtu.be/EHT8olWP0Us

Cool I'll check it out, I've been watching frozen planet on AMC. Last night I checked out the last of us on HBO max. Someone I know said it was good or els I would have not watched it because I was thinking it's just another zombie show.
