Anime cliches/tropes

Mine is when the characters dont hook up by the end of the series I mean I watched 12 episodes and freaking nothing happens between them!! It used to be worst in the 90's to early 2000's when shows would be 24 to 40ish episodes X(

@Cero Thanks for reminding me of another cliche that I really don't like. Many anime shows seem to take place at a high school for some reason. What the hell is so cool about high school? High school in real life sucks. Not to mention that high school in Japan is strict as all fuck. I guess that setting is popular in anime because of the anime school girls.

@Otakusan89 Sorry to have to tell you this, but the main guy and main girl don't always have to hook up.

True but it really stinks when they lead you on making you think that they will and they never do.

I hate the frequency of messed up somewhat abusive behavior being considered romantic. My little monster, Itakiss, Wolf Girl and Black Prince, they all have some messed up romances.

Shoujo manga: Girl: "I HATE THIS BOY ALL THESE GIRLS LIKE HIM UGHHH ! ! 11 !!" Boy: *makes fun of her, saves her butt, says something, anything similar, etc* Girl: ",,,,,,what are these,,,,,feelings,,,,, in my heart,,,,,ive never felt this way for someone before,,,,,," like if i can read one without it being like this, that would be GREAT. The only one I liked just like this was Kaichou wa Maid Sama tbh

If I were to say one trope that I didn't like, I'd probably say the oh-so-perfect figure of every anime girl in existence. I'd just like to see one bigger girl in an anime, just for a little diversity! Oh, and Yanderes... they scare me...
