anyone else play Dragon quest 9 a bunch?

I played it way back when it first came out (was it like 2010?). It's actually my second favorite game among all games I've played. I'm surprised people are still playing it nowadays. I finished it a long time ago, but assuming you don't have a healer, I'd get one. Also, you can grind liquid metal slimes in a certain dungeon somewhat earlier in the game. If you search a guide, it's very quick experience once you get a rhythm to it. Swapping classes temporarily can rack you up the passive bonuses of those classes which apply to you even when you're playing as another class. So, for example, if you play as a Warrior, earning the passive bonuses in mana or whatever in the Sage line stays with you even when you play a Warrior.

It was the first game I've ever logged over 250 hours on, so yeah, I'd say I played it a bunch. But I've not played it in a few years at this point; I'm trying to remove some timesinks from my gaming queue.
