Looks pretty good. I'm just wondering how the titans will look besides these shots in the trailers that are only a couple seconds. And yeah, lets discuss one little thing that, in essence, yehhh doesn't REALLY matter I guess, but I'm just shooting the shit. So you know how western anime fans get angry over anime adaptation live movie actors that aren't Japanese when they have STRICTLY, OBVIOUSLY Japanese names and characteristics from their original source material? (AKA the famous 'white wash') Umm... I feel like it's finally kind of the opposite in this case except for one character (obviously Mikasa). Blatant European people. And I'm gunna be /that/ guy and mention that those buildings in the trailers and movie poster look modern day. They look like Japanese apartments when they should have some sort of olde-tyme villa construction to them that the manga and anime had. And if they're gonna go all the way with CGI then I say go all the way with the original source material and stick to that kind of design. And there's definitely no shortage of white actors that would be willing to speak some Japanese lines to land in a prominent franchise. And let's not forget that it's not like you see that every day in Japanese-made cinema! It'd be a bit different.

I will definitely be watching it, but I feel this is way too pre-mature. I haven't been up to date with the manga lately but as far as I'm aware it isn't finished and the anime adaptation is so short. I really think they should have held off until the anime at least got its second season.

I watched it It is REALLY NOT AS GOOD AS THE ANIME but its still okai. Careful spoiler! They are no Levi, he is replaced by a creepy guy! Mikasa "dies" without eren beeng able to do anythhing but she reaperes after. The parents of Eren are already dead Mikasa is Erens girlfriend Its is really hard to see who is Armin and who is Eren.

I agree with Ely... I stopped watching it after 10 minutes, I just didn't like it. The Anime is WAY better.

Okay, to be honest, this is my impression while watching Attack on Titan live action cast: 1- Armin isn't even blonde 2-They gave "Levi" a scene haircut 3-Eren doesn't even have"let's see the damn ocean" green eyes 4-jean doesn't look like a horse 5-Armin looks like Kaneki Ken 6- They made hanji into Hans like wtf she is the genius not the drunk 7-Pixis isn't even bald 8-WHAT'S NEXT?!! ERWIN WITH NO EYEBROWS?!!

So I went to see this on the first day. The movie was about what I expected. Many things are different from the source material. And you have to wonder why. But I have no clue what they were thinking when they filmed the titans. Instead of using a camera with high frames/second for the "slow-mo" effect to give the feeling of a heavy mass they just used a normal camera and artificially lowered the frames/second. Which gives a turrrrible choppy look. It was especially bad with the normal sized actors in frame. You would think that it would be important enough to rent a high speed camera. Especially since the titan action is the strongest part of the movie. Rant over. Oh, but there's something else. Of course the theater was completely packed full of excited AOT fans of all ages. But early on the hopes for the amazing live action film we all dreamed of were sadly let down. Story-wise this wasn't anything close to the IP that brought all of these different people together to sit in the same room. But it was still live action Attack on Titan, or at least a form of it, and we were determined to get whatever entertainment out of it we could. So. Attempting to follow along with the questionable new character motivations the film arrives at the cadet school scene. The Pixis/Hans character starts his rousing monologue to motivate the young cadets before him. Channeling the famous scene from the movie Patton he yells "I've been waiting for this day!" .............................. and that's when the subtitles freeze. Letting the rest of the movie continue on but with that same line of text and our understanding of whats happening waiting patiently for a change......................................... We keep waiting. And waiting. All the while that single line stares back at us with a cheaply made cash-cow dancing behind it. "I've been waiting for this day." There wasn't one person in that theater who didn't see the irony staring back at them. And it wasn't long before people had to start vocalizing. The movie kept playing on and on with our now singular thought displayed while brave moviegoers repeatedly read out loud. "I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY!" While the movie was ultimately a let down it will always be memorable for sharing a truly organic funny moment with a big room of people. But I cant help but wonder. Were we trolled by someone in post production?

Mad disapointment. I was hoping they were not going to turn Mikasa into a damsel in distress...and they killed her off for a while instead. What the hell was up with the silly instant love triangle? Why did they transform levi from a hyper focused, cutthroat, pragmatist to a cheesy thai 'Days of Our Lives' actor? I knew the 3D mobility gear would not be able to stand up to the rigors of live action, but I could not help laughing histerically anyway. I hated, hated, HATED how almost all the titans looks like ordinary human extras walking around in the background with body suits. The female titan that Erin thinks killed Mikasa is the only one with a truley mangled jawline and facial structure that makes me think titan.
