Learning Lesbian

i think it would be no different than any other rejection; however, due to society and a LITTLE bit of natural causes, staying/being friends would be a lot easier

I wouldn't get butt-hurt, but that's me. I can't say this will work cause I've never tried it before with a lesbian. But there was a gay guy that I liked alot, wasn't until after a while I found out he was gay cause everyone thought he was straight. After a while of spending time with him, he admitted to me that he has never slept with a girl before so well, long story short, he had sex with a girl and he is no longer gay. Of course his bf was angry cause apparently the bf is the one who turned him gay. They're still friends and all but he's happy with his gf and we're now best friends :)

When the girl I like, aims for another team. If you cant beat em, join em.

I think it's the same when I girl finds out someone she likes is gay. It's not really even rejection, it's just like...you have to shrug and move on. It's not really a big deal, but I think it's easier to stay friends with them, you know? Like, hey, you're both interested in the same gender. You can be the person's wing man/woman. It's great.

Recently there was a girl I had feelings for and when she finally opened uomto me to tell me she wasn't interested in guys I kinda felt relaxed. Dunno. Probably just exactly what shaedust said. Though it's kinda funny to us since the other people don't know what happened and think I'm still chasing her. Heh

@shaedust that is a good practical way to look at it. It is not the same as rejection, I agree, if you were never eligible and just did not know.

It's no different than if the person you like/have a crush on/attracted to is involved or married. You never had a chance before you set eyes on them.
