age differences?

kajithevagrantsoul
Well said, Kronos. I, for one, prefer a girl to be younger than me, but is close to my age(Although, I don't mind a girl who is a year older). I kinda want to keep the age range close to 2-3 years younger. Still, it depends on the girl.

It really depemds, at least for me. I guess it matters more of the maturity of the person rather than their age.

I date like 12-22 year olds and I prefer younger boys (12-14 year olds), but I dont judge other peoples relationships unless I suspect theres violence or abuse involved, its their business

the oldest ive ever dated was 22 im about to be 18 soon but we had chemistry and yes there does go that line like the law so nothing happened it was just 2 ppl who enjoyed each others company but he went off to jobcorps and i decided to be the teenager i am but now im back in the dating scene and its hard to find someone appreciative. But age is just a number and it depends on the person but it is nice to have someone close to age preferablly i like 18-21 a 4 years difference ^^

^I agree with this. Maturity levels say more than age.

Yeah, I'm 17 and I always tend to relate more to older people than most kids my age, so it's really all about the person and not the number.

It is one thing to say maturity level is what matters, but I will just say this: I didn't realize I didn't know S**t about S**t until I was 30. You will always gauge yourself more mature and wiser than you really are, and when you do get older you will always laugh at yourself from 3 years ago :) That is where it can affect a relationship, in that one may think they could easily date a 40 year old at 20, but really there is such a strong change just from 18-23 in each year that you don't see it until afterwards. It's not that the same older person may think "young and immature", it may be the thought of going through all those changes and life experience again with someone, which in the case of wild partying I know I am way past those days :) Not to say common ground can't be found or things worked through, but realistically you have more working against than for you. :) I swear I'm an optimist!

I'm sorry to hear about the whole age difference thing. Sometimes you have to be careful with younger people because you know how they are, but sometimes they lie about their age and you have to be really careful what you say to them. Even myself, I am older, but I still hang with my age group.
