think about it this way if u marrie a guy you're age or younger even worse! you're gona seem old to him (her) for chicks i gota say its pretty tough marry up to idealy 3 or 4 years older yah know~ so i dont get sick of him but he still thinks damn shes fine ;D as the years go by in my experince from my messd up famliy this is something proven haha but not over 10 years older then u then its just getting grose haha <3

Well.... I have said it before......It looks like I am SOL on this site. I would take a younger OTAKU but I know I am not what they want. So where are the older ones??! I see plenty of older OTAKU at conventions.

Well.I may be 28, but my limit is still 18 or older. When I get 30, and if 'm still single by then, I'll raise it to 21.

Age seems to matter less and less as you get older. I know when I was a teenager I was really hung up on only dating in a certain age range, but now that I'm 30 I don't feel that way. I also have to agree with Ridingcatbus. It's hard to connect with other older otaku. Most forums and sites are mainly the younger generation.

When I was a tad younger it meant a lot to date within a year or two of me, but I'm a tad more flexible now...

:X ive been thinking about the same thing i would say age does matter but then it doesnt at the same time. ive had men like me that are in there 30- late 40's and to be honest i dont know why they tend to want to ask me out. Cuase they should know that im a bit too young! i would say a 5 year differnce isnt bad but 8 or 11 year age gap is pushing it. You must think about if your 11 years apart when the older person will have failing health and youll still be in a middle age and you want go out and have fun. etc. but ive met alot of nice guys my age and some one that have no respect for a lady.

My folks are in their 90's and still active. I plan on an active 35+ years still. Don't bury us older Otakus before our time! My concern with some young obese smokers is I might outlive them.

I hate to say it, but age differences are a factor for some people. As Sobi says, it matters less as you get older, but it is something to be considered. Some people may frown upon May-December relationships and not feel comfortable talking to an older person. And yes, it is frustrating trying to find otaku my age :(
