So I'm really not sure about this whole "online dating" thing, but if I can acquire a few nerdy friends out of this I'll consider it a major success.

Where to begin...I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Marketing in 2013, and since moving back home I've been having a bit of a hard time connecting with people with similar interests. I also tend to be a bit shy when I first meet people, though I do open up quite a bit once I've been introduced. I'll be honest right now and admit that I am dealing with some health issues (if you're curious, look up POTS or dysautonomia). It basically means that I've had to be choosy about my relationships in life, as I don't exactly have a of of extra energy to spare. Despite this, I am the type of person that gives 100% in everything I do (which is probably why sometimes I crash!). People in my life need to be somewhat understanding about this. I do my best not to ever be a burden on anyone, but empathy is a must.

I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic, and I'm looking for my real-life Link. Growing up, he was always an inspiration to me, as he bravely and selflessly strives to do what is right. I'd like someone that is motivated and passionate, as well as someone with a level head. By the same token, I also need someone who has a great sense of humor and who can help me loosen up and enjoy life a bit.

I love fantasy (anything with a medieval feel and/or elves, really). That includes--but is not limited to--video games, anime/manga, the Dragonlance book series, movies, etc. Chances are if it's fantasy, I'll love it. If it's science fiction, I'll probably really like it. Other than that, I have an open mind.
