That one was good. And yep, the ending was not good. Happens a lot, yet not in everyone. I seen a few with good endings: Baccano!, Clannad, Last Exile, and many more.

Well I'll stick with the manga. I love love the manga. Damn story won't stop getting better. Can't wait for chapter 50 to come out.

the ending was like that because of the fact that the light novels which are the source material for the anime are still ongoing. You have to remember that most anime are made for the people who are already familiar with the source material. And a lot of times when the anime is made, the source material is still being worked on. which is why so many end abruptly with no real ending. or major differences between the anime and manga or novel versions. The majority that are wrapped up with a proper ending were created to be an anime first.
