Living in alaska has definitely taught me that rather than buy name brand foods and stuff, just make them myself. Oh a box of eggo waffles is $8? No thanks imma just make them myself. I mean even the Aunt jemima pancake mix is like 5 dollars but im gonna load it up with fruits. My family used to make banana pancakes and im just gonna do that and freeze them for work the next day. I dont know how people live here. McDonald's doesnt even have a dollar menu thats how expensive it is here.

Alaska has a higher rate on pricing because of how difficult it is to ship goods to that area. Especially during the winter. Truck drivers take great risk going that far north and it's usually planes that deliver to certain parts of that State. @hell_hound7
