Vikings Valhalla is 100 years after the first series. Rollo's French granddaughter marries an English King. The religious theme still carries on as the Vikings are converted to the point they take over the villages and the pagans are ousted from their lands. So far the only clear descendants on the Vikings side from the previous show are Harald Fine Hair's grandchildren.

@verucassault thank you at least someone watched it. At first i was turned off by the show over atlestan and his angry prayer toward God for allowing him to be captured by the vikings but realized i would be a hypocrite cuz i also did the same. I eventually kept watching but it really does show that alot of religion is the same or has similar elements however i believe in the beginning there was only one religion and that was revolving around the God from christianity. Way before even christ. From there people created their own religions. Just like the bible said when moses went up and came down to people who had turned their gold into statues and worshiped them. I also find it kinda hardcore that God in his spiritual form would not allow people to look at him or they would like die or something. I also believe the arc of the covenant still exists and some say its in a temple somewhere in the middle east.

Did you finish it? Altesan was one of my fav characters as was Floki. So I'm bitter how all that turned out lol.

@daggerfella I'm talking about the parts of Christmas that people love. That's because of Yule. Snow, feasts, gift exchanges, decorating of and with evergreens.

Ah gotcha. All seasons are on Hulu. And I think Netflix bought the rights to Valhalla so it's a Netflix Original series.
