Got Insomnia?

verucassault
Criselington @criselington I'll take any you can give. I'm good on no caffeine for the most part. I rarely drink that after noon. Eating late I try to avoid. I wonder what constitutes as work.. is it a physical thing or mental thing? Like sometimes hobbies are work, so... The worst one for me is the electronics because I will stay on my phone until I feel drowsy enough to sleep. I do use a blue light filter though and dim my screen as much as possible.

I sent you a message. Hopefully, they help you ease it up a bit and let you get some more sleep.

@criselington I think I figured out why I was struggling last night. My physical therapist had me do new stuff yesterday. The focus has been on getting the range of motion and strength back into my leg... but yesterday she had me do things that had me using my arms and upper body. I was basically too sore from working out to fall asleep. I knew I was sore, I just didn't realize how bad until this morning. https://thumbs.gfycat.com/BogusSinfulClownanemonefish-size_restricted.gif

I see. Well, hopefully, you have better luck sleeping tonight

I got my supplements and started taking them earlier this week. While the changes were subtle at first, I still had problems falling asleep and staying asleep. Despite that I've gotten the most rest this week than forever. I didn't realize how much until I told Arc that I was actually dreaming again. I realized I used to dream a lot and often but here lately my dreams are few and far between or very short and unmemorable. Last night I did wake up at 2am but I didn't stay up. Progress. I'm using Dr. Huberman's sleep cocktail. He's a nueroscientist who practices at Stanford.

Hell yeah, that's good. Get that sleep.
criselington
I hope you're getting more sleep and of so hell, yeah.

Criselington @criselington I have gotten better sleep. I'm still waking up too early but it hasn't been as bad as before.
criselington
That's good. More is better than no improvement at all

Just got to train yourself to go to sleep. I learned to do that when I was in hospital at a young age. Yay life skills.
