Too picky, or am I unlucky?

I looked over your "40 facts about me" in your profile. I'll give you a challenge. Try to go one week without saying anything negative or use any words with negative connotations when it involves yourself - or anybody else for that matter. No "I hate", "I've suffered", "scared", "terrified of", "sadness", etc. You might just be amazed at the results.

Yeahhhh it seems like *all* of your focus is going into making the *other* person happy and being the borderline standard of 'nice'. That's not a good look man, I've been there during my high school years. Until you really learn to find *yourself* and love yourself and realize that you have your own needs as well that *others* need to uphold (and not solely being the other way around on a 1-way street). It will help you a whole lot if you realize this and work on it while you have the opportunity.

Hey Chase, I'd like to give some advice and hope it serves you well. I think you should read "the five love languages" by Gary Chapman. It might not help you find/attract anyone but I think it'll help you once you get into a relationship. Now I'm not the best at attracting people or finding the right people to attract in the first place. But, I don't think your problem is that you're too nice. I think you don't know how to sell yourself. Maybe listen to "sell or be sold" by Grant Cardone on audio book it should help out a lot. Last thing, I read on your profile that you have depression and anxiety. If it is severe (having a daily effect on your life) consult a doctor and get on some mild meds if you haven't already. They will help stabilize you and your emotions will be easier to control. Hope you take my suggestions to heart man :)
