I skipped over MHW. I actually didn't even realize they had a collector's edition switch. I'd been debating for a good while, saw that and thought if I was to get one, that'd be it. Definitely a fantastic game.

Like I said, I just got lucky. I had a few beers, was browsing online, decided to look up Nintendo Switch, saw it, they only had one of the monster hunter rise edition consoles and I figured that one was the one to get. Still aren't any stores around me that have that one, they sold out pretty quick when they came out.

Oh, I know. I had a brief moment where I thought to do the same. But, just as I've done with my now defunct wind waker edition Wii U, I'll keep it for years to come. I'm just hoping my son doesn't destroy the original box for the switch like he did with the Wii U.lol Hell, I could still get a couple hundred for the Wii U, but I still love it and besides, the Nintendo store has N64 games for the Wii U and not the switch. Edit: Not to mention, all the games I have for the Wii U, they basically ported them to the switch and I don't want to rebuy them at the moment.

It wasn't my first choice. I've been waiting for one to come in stock for like 2 months. Got tired of waiting. Plus I read some really positive reviews for Dalstrong so I thought, if I don't like it, I'll just get something better later on. Meh.
