@hell_hound7 oshimi has this 'i want to escape society' theme in most of his manga, so i can see how they feel so similar what was wrong with it? she had a mental break. i was glad that it wasnt some supernatural bullshit, although i admit her falling for the other girl didnt really feel right, although in hindsight it made sense since she (as the hikikomori) was aroused by girls

@hell_hound7 the mangas been out for many, many years, so its fair game, but you can just ((((())))) your text or whatever for anyone reading that may wanna read the manga (i wish this site had spoiler covers) with the period scene, she knew what a period was didn't she? she was just freaked out? she went and got bought pads i remember. i mean, for a girl who thinks shes a guy i can imagine how wtf and scary that can be. the fact that it wasn't supernatural was indicated from very early on, it was always ambiguous and we knew mari was always an unreliable narrator. like i said, i read it when it was still on going and i assumed it was going to be psychological instead of super natural around the time she starts getting flash backs.

so, like, in unlimited blade words its implied that shinju and sakura end up together. which i kinda like. ignoring that shinji was a rapist in the beginning of the anime, it makes sense that they would get together. why turn sakura into a weapon when you can just use the tokiomi circuits to jump start the family genes again. shinji and sakura makes way more sense and is way comfier than the shit show that heaven feels was.

Nah @momoichi it was kind of an asspull cuz she was stalking dude? And then all of the sudden became him. Then the jerking him off scene, pretending it was him in her body trying to like do who knows what. Then the friend who thought something was up and yeah the whole story seemed to play around this supernatural element and then it turns out she is just crazy.

@hell_hound7 the signs were everywhere, it was always the intent to have her break from reality. i liked her stalking him because it was a contrast from the "creepy neet stalks cute girl" trope, and not to mention, in the very first chapter he admits to stalking her, which was literally mari admitting to stalking the neet. in the first chapter! she wanted to be him because in her eyes he had a life that was the opposite of hers, it was easy and breezy. i think her life could have been portrayed as harder, if i remember her only issue was her mom was kinda psycho and that was it. maybe if she had more pressure itd make more sense. but i liked that, because you'd never expect someone like her would envy a neet drop out loser. because of that, the ending felt more rewarding then just "lul supernatural happened because no reason, just fanservice" like most mangas handle it. also, if you like gender swap manga and wanna read one where it is supernatural and more fanservice/romcom, i recommend Boku Girl Loki changes a guys gender for the lulz https://i.redditmedia.com/yTtifkV29IkZr8eY9JtQwRMdmwuXQeclZ7WZBWqGWco.jpg?s=fb0a62f9cf80097dbc21b7e9123b1f2c
