@ Hoodedfang How unfortunate. Those seem like poor excuses to me. I think if they liked you enough they would have made it work, simply put it wasn't meant to be and probably wouldn't be worth your time anyways. I am sure the right person will appear when you least expect it, they are sneaky that way.

Is this the singles club? *hangs up coat* It's rough dealing with rejection, but you kind of just have to keep moving forward and forget about it. Chances are if you were rejected, you would have fell out of love eventually if you were accepted half-heartedly. But then when you lie in bed, you start overthinking about what you could have done differently and that's a whole 'nother ball game. And then it's 5 hours passed the time you were supposed to fall asleep.

@Daggera Yeah, I'm sure the right person will show up when I'm not expecting it. I technically don't need another in my life, so I can wait. I got other things in my life to keep me busy anyway. Like being a comment invader. XD

@Daggera I wouldn't write him off just like that. It seemed like he was trying to make things a little more lighthearted around here.

Sometimes I think getting rejected is good for you, in the sense that it toughens you up to it. If there`s one thing I`ve found out recently, it`s that I`m infinitely better at dealing with rejection now than I ever was in the past. I can sort of shrug it off and say, "Oh, well. Guess I`ll look for someone else." When I was younger I was a complete wreck when it came to that kind of thing.
