How far will you go???

nikita_13
All the way. Have found one half way across the world. Very much so. Ask yourself this, if you're not interested in someone, why would you consider them as a potential bf/gf? Pulled the plug on one that on a good day is an hour away, two hours with traffic. That our schedules are almost completely opposite each other complicates things even more.

how do you know for sure if your interested in a girl or guy if you dont give them a small chance if your are truly interested by only speaking to them over the net. and not spending time with them even if its just a bit... ppl are different over the net vs in person.... not disagreeing or agreeing with your point... just that you can meet up face to face without wasting a trip.... that what "anime conventions are used for"

the distance is just the beginning of the adventure

Most of my dating potentials start with meeting IRL, and more often than not the lack of interest is mutual, sometimes it's either that loses interest in the other, with very few left to try dating. With the current interest we've only been able to meet up once in a month because of the distance and our jobs. Kinda hard to spend time together when one or the other is at work or asleep. Of the people I was interested in online, most were either in another state or country. The only ones I've met IRL became long term friends.

I've never been in the situation, but I believe I could travel almost anywhere to be with the person I wanted to be with. Of course after a lot of talking and possibly video chat.

Distance isn't much of an issue, but with a long distance relationship it also depends on if either of you is willing to move. For me that part would depend on if I like the place they live.

Been there and done the long distance relationship thing. (Both with someone who was only ~1-2 hours away in another state and with someone who was to far away to ever see without a plane ticket). I'd honestly say it's totally worth it for someone special, and I don't really regret it. Honestly I don't get the big stigma on trying long distance relationships, people in real life are just as likely to go from "I love you!" to "I'm bored with you now bye!" at the drop of a hat.
