I've staffed last year at Portcon also, thats awesome I wasn't aware we had a maidcafe, I have some ideas for cosplay. I had three groups on the forums that wanted me to cosplay for them so somehow I have to become good at making costumes and make four of them -_-'' It will be interesting for the most part.

Have you staffed a con before, or is it your first time? I've always wondered about it... but I wasn't sure if I would have the time to contribute. I'm signed up to be in the maid cafe at Portcon next year, and I'm pretty excited. I hope it goes well! Do you have any plans for cosplay?

I'm also a little into Japanese music, I really love the fashion scene though- so that's my big thing. I don't know a lot about Japanese history, but I have a friend who majors in it. It's kind of funny, because I went over there for a short term stay, and my host father was impressed that I knew some Japanese celebs.... but his face fell when he realized I was totally ignorant of Japans hisotry. :( I have been to a convention, but only to Portcon. I'm planning to go to Anime Boston this year too though. How about you?
