I can see how a grumpy cashier can be detrimental, lol. The owner should really consider hiring someone else. The people keep coming back though so there is probably something there :) It probably just means that security would be even more strict, given the location. Yes, hopefully the attacks don't influence the talks themselves. There is probably going to be a lot of pressure on China because they are the largest producer of emissions at the moment.

Hahaha, sorry. It's the only place I know so I naturally comparisons with South Africa, I'm sure there regional cuisine variations in Bikini Bottom too. I hear the Krusty Krab cooks up a mean burger ;>0 Yeah, one can only hope that things will change a little. Climate change is on the news a lot. The 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference will also be held in Paris. That starts on the 30th of November. A lot of people are hoping that something constructive will be done at that conference.

Maybe I will try it. South African cuisine is definitely something different. It varies from region to region in South Africa too. In Durban there is a big Indian influence on the cuisine. In the Cape area, where I live, the Malay and Dutch influences in the cuisine are strong. You're right. A lot of the other stuff on the top of the politicians list are being or will be affected by climate change. The energy companies have a lot influence too, of course. A lot of them aren't exactly encouraging the development of alternative energy. Hahaha, okay ;0

I guess I am a little bit curious. Dried/smoked Mopane worms are actually a delicacy in South Africa and a lot of other African countries. People say they taste great. I never had the courage to try them though ;) South African cuisine is already a mix of Malay, Indian, Dutch, English, African cooking. It's because the country was a halfway stop for ships on their way to the spices in the East. I think alternative energy is a worthwhile investment though. The unbridled profiteering may kill the earth, you know. Hehehe. Only if you want to. I don't want you feeling forced to do anything.

People are really ingenious. There are probably a range of techniques to make bugs more appealing. I think I'll pass until times get really desperate. I love how each region has a different culinary tradition. Because we live in a globalized world we can try food from across the world too. It's really great. You can have Italian one day and the following day Chinese. I can't understand those people that argue in favour of expanding fossil fuel consumption. Some of them are in really influential positions too. Thanks. No, you can keep the SpongeBob references coming. I grew up watching that show. It's great. You should always be proud of coming from Bikini Bottom ;0

Hehe. Throw some in while no one is looking. It would be best if it is mixed with something else. I saw one chef coated insects in chocolate to make them more appealing. It may be an acquired taste though. It would be a huge disaster. People will migrate in massive numbers to other areas putting strain on the stretched resources. If we act now though we can cause change. Oh, I meant us and the new generation. Sorry if my wording was unclear. Thank you. That emoji is my own invention. Now that you mention it...it kind of does look like a witch, lol.

Yes, you're correct. Some bugs contain almost the same amount of protein as beef but with much less fat. If only insects looked more appealing. It is very sad how humans are destroying the environment. I heard climatologists say that 2015 will be the first year that the temperature rose 1 degree Celsius above the pre-industrial average. If we hit an increase of above 2 degree Celsius then we can expect serious natural disasters. Hopefully we, the new generation, can work towards a brighter future. It's my pleasure. It's great talking with you ;>0
