godspell @godspell I love it. I hate the main character. Her decisions were stupid. Except stabbing cenobites and refusing the gift. I was honestly more entertained by the insane sadistic billionaire. They created new rules and enforced the new ones. Her likeness to the cenobites can be seen and relatable. I felt bad for her brother didn't deserve it.

Lamby @momoichi riiiiiiiiiiight?? i cant believe it was so good. that isnt to say it was a great movie, but it was definitely good and exceded my expectations. and yeah, wtf was her refusing the gift? like i get it was always going to be cursed, but like, we know for a FACT that her brother isnt dead, hes being tortured the same way the uncle in the first movie was. soooo she really does abandon him after cursing him in the first place. BUT the centibites looked pretty awesome, and that contraption in the middle of the dude was peeeaaaaakkkkkkk

Lamby @momoichi should you be working a service job with those D:? have you taken some vitamin C? it really does help, like pound some oranges or mandarins. nice thing about the pandemic is normalizing masks when sick, atleast, so you dont have to feel too weird about coughing
godspell @godspell I've been drinking tea and hot water. I don't have a fever anymore while working and sleeping. Unfortunately I have to. A worker who promised to work a year dipped out and went back to her old job. I'm not contagious anymore. But after a week feels like terrible

Lamby @momoichi yike a doodle. what kind of tea? hopefully not english, and if your partial to black tea i recommend darjeeling, reaaallyyy good and you dont need milk or sugar (its naturally sweet) as for sleeping, have you tried benedril? when iv had trouble sleeping usually a tablet helps (if your flu symptoms are keeping you up it should be enough to knock you out) damn im sorry to hear :/ any idea why the turn over rate is so bad?
godspell @godspell well currently work isn't doing so well. We either have super busy days to nothing. People have no money rn. I'm not sure my mom makes teas from herbs so who knows. My throat hurts to swallow. My brother will be going to a con to meet the author of aot
Lamby @momoichi well teas are definitely good for your throat, just be careful of milk. maybe oat or almond milk would work if you really like english tea? anyways, yeah the economy is still on a downswing. but its good you have some good days. did you guys take out any pp loans during the pandemic?

Lamby @momoichi well thats kinda how it goes in a capitalism doesnt it? you start a business., you take a risk, and because your taking that risk, you get the highest profits when it succeeds, and take the hit when it fails. and there are (probably still?) safety nets, like the pp loan thing. im sure your parents signed up for it, i heard it was a great thing for businesses in covid. it was so good these huge businesses were signing up for it, so it must have been useful lol
godspell @godspell I dont think they ever did. I feel like I remember them saying you have to pay back too much money. Well business only last less than 5 years. It's probably less now.

godspell @godspell Kaiji anime deals with the first 2 arcs. Which each arc maintains their own volumes. But the chapters for the arcs are screwed up unfortunately.

godspell @godspell Well translation not an issue. The problem is for some reason each arc. Someone has for example you try and read the first arc that's like 200 chapters in. And you get to chapter 20+ it's switch to arc there which is another story

godspell @godspell Yeah. If you look up kaiji there are currently five different series based on the 5 arcs. The boat and the beginning make up 200 chapters for gambling apocalypse. Idk how people find ways to read it. I'm tempted to watch the anime again and reach part 3. Just hope it's not the same

godspell @godspell I've never wanted to read Dr. Slump lol But dragonball sets the standard of all shonen that came after. It's an easy to read story. Everyone who says there's no plot is on acid lol The saiyan namek and cell saga are fantastic reads. DragonBall super has been amazing too

godspell @godspell If war devil here for chainsawman. The other 3 aren't far behind. And Kobeni has not been shown to use her devil at all. And she's deathly afraid of dying and does whatever she can to avoid it. It's highly unlikely to have survived the events of the arc. Unless she has a contract with death to avoid her demise

Lamby @momoichi was based. but why were powers boobs so big on the op too!! too big! awesome seeing future but why include him and kishibe? they wont be til season 2. same with angel and beam and printz. if its just a nod to manga readers though, i approve. nice seeing them, though kishibe kinda seemed shitty? idk he didnt seem designed or animed very well, cant say why. also overload of flimsy symbolism in the op was a bit much. otherwise was great, the othewise great style and animation outweighed the cgi, and denji's voice actor was annoyin initially it got better in the end. thogh makima having a moe voice is unforgiveable.
