abide in the wind [Manga]

The story starts with a girl named Reana Forte who saves a lone dragon, Kairak, from a poison by a Parasitoid. Unaware of the consequences, caused by her action, Reana must help Kairak mature into a full-fledge adult within one year in order to met with the other dragons who left Earth. During their journey, the girl experiences sacrifices, hardships, betrayal, and regrets to fulfill that promise. But will everything return back to the halcyon days that the girl once wished for?
