Plot Summary
- Based on a series of English language study aid books published by SansaiBooks in Japan.
Najihara Ink is a clumsy high school girl with the appearance of a grade school kid. She is one of the best students in the school, and her best subject is English. Ink has a crush on one of the boys in her class — Nao Tesuka, but she is much too shy to tell him how she feels about him.
But one day Ink’s world turns upside-down when she meets Arks Sheldart Elbyas, a mage who has been banned from the magic realm to the human world in a form of a duck. By accident, Ink and Arks meet. He gives Ink a magical cell phone that transforms her into Pastel Ink. Now Ink must help all those who are in need, and she uses her disguise to approach Nao-kun to help him study English. Soon Arks’ arch enemy, Karks, shows up in the form of an cat and makes Ink’s friend, Sumi-chan, able to transform too.
However, these are not the only magical girls. One particularly mysterious one has some grudge against Arks and tries to do everything to stop him from doing good deeds.
