The "looking for a relationship" thread

Apparently, my post didn't get sent through right before so let's try this again. Andrew, 23 (24 in mid-July), straight. I'm a bigger guy, but I'm in the works of getting more muscular and skinny. I am into anime, but I have no obsessions. To be honest, my role model is Goku, from Dragonball Z. I want to be just like him: athletic, skinny and muscular, strong, funny, kind, relaxed, etc. I have an Associate's degree in Culinary Management and am in the last semester of a General Studies Associate's degree so I can transfer to a Dietetics program in the Fall. As you can tell from my degrees, I am also into food, nutrition, and dietetics, with interest in the treatment portion of bariatrics. I have no interest in medicine or nursing though. Before, I dreamed of becoming a culinary instructor, but now I want to become a hands-on dietitian; someone that works with you to lose weight at each step. I think it's just an easy way out to give someone a piece of paper and be like "follow this." That does not leave any accountability or practical knowledge along with it. I am shy with people I do not know, but if I get into a subject I know well, I can go on and on. I am more of a serious person, but I do joke around sometimes. I have never had a serious relationship and I have only ever been on one date. As far as what I'm looking for, I'm looking for a woman who likes anime and likes to cosplay, but is not absolutely obsessed with it. My visual preferences usually lean more toward cute women. I'll be honest, I am quite oblivious to most "signs" that women give me until much, much later. One of the more interesting things about me is that I have a really strong ethic in that if I say I will do something for you, you can bet that I will do my best to achieve that. P.S. To meisterman, I have several friends with Asperger's which I didn't even suspect until they told me (one of which I have known for years and just found out).

I am John Ruder, age 23, 5'9" I am honest and loyal to a fault. I love a good debate. I really like sharing and openness in a relationship. I am a libertarian atheist, but you probably wouldn't realize it if I hadn't mentioned it here, unless you decided to bring it up. I am largely of a live and let live attitude inasmuch as I'm not clearly inviting harm to myself or others, and I'm open to new viewpoints if you can convince me. I am into anime, but I don't have time to sit down for an episode most of the time so I read a lot of manga instead. I generally keep up with 40-50 series' and love to talk with other people about the various manga, manhwa and manhua that I read. I am also an avid gamer, but I'm more into tabletop games (board, card, RPG) rather than video games. When I do play video games they're usually fighting games, and when it's computer games I prefer MMORPGs. As for board games I am mostly into older ones, like go and shougi, but I am happy to try out newer ones. As for card games, I only play 2: Magic: The Gathering and My Little Pony CCG As for tabletop RPGs, well...ask me about my characters and I can go on quite a while. I really like playing interesting beta tabletop RPGs, and I enjoy some Pathfinder when I can find a group. As you may have deduced from that, I am indeed a brony. I am not a furry, but I have many good friends who are and I'm open to trying new things. I also practice martial arts, primarily Kali and Silat. I can't really travel very far, so ideally I'd be looking for someone in the greater Austin area, though location is not an issue if you can make your way to Austin reasonably often.

I prefer computer games to console, but I do own a few consoles as well. My favorite genre would be MMORPGs, followed by turn-based strategy games. Hi there, everyone !! My name is Ashleigh. I'm 17 years old, and currently I'm still in highschool. After this summer break, I'll be a senior, so I'm kinda excited about that. One of my favorite hobbies is acting, I've been doing it since I was five, and recently I was able to land the lead role in a musical, so that was pretty cool I guess. ^^" I've been into anime for about... 5 years now.
