I can't say I've had too much authentic Japanese food. Some good sushi, the more generic goyza and a few snack items. Someday I want to watch anime with friends and fix snacks based on what the characters are eating in the anime.

Taiyaki. It has to be, they sell it at this Chinese market. But still same stuff they add in it. Red bean paste@!

Mochis are delicious, I had a mochi eating contest with my cousin once.. We should swallow them cause we were laughing so hard.

I would say a good bowl of ramen. Btw, if anyone wants real Japanese food in the US, go to Hawaii! It's basically a second Japan for Gaijin like me!
