Does appearance really matter?

In some ways, yes. For me, they must dress decent and modest. Wearing revealing clothes that shows too much skin is a huge turn off for me.

It matters a little to me but it's not really a deal breaker in my opinion. I end up finding something I like about the person. Their inner beauty is something to behold! lol I'm not perfect either

No appearance doesn't matter at all my friends still get surprised when there talking about girls in my class and they ask me about one of them when I tell them I didn't even notice the person they give me the look that says are you crazy. Looks was what used to interest me when I was younger and that didn't even make me want to date anyone its the personality that matters.

I think it does. I mean I can be good friends with someone, but if the physical attraction isn't there I can't see it going any further. Really though what's physically beautiful to someone is all a matter of opinion. It's like picking out a new car or motorcycle for it's looks, but there's going to be plenty of people who dislike it. I guess what I'm saying is don't worry about your looks, someone will think you're beatiful.

Physical attraction should only be about maybe half of the reason you are dating someone in my opinion. If someone has a really good outer self, but a really bad inner self, you're probably only going to want anything to do with them that has body contact in it, sex or otherwise. The same can be done and said with the inverse of this, and all other permutations. Of course there are people that go past the bad and take root in the good, and good on them for that. Though for myself, it can't happen unless both my mind and body have some level of attraction to you, whether that be big or small. Of course as well, physical attraction is a subjective opinion, so everyone has something different to say about who and what they like, etc., etc.. repetitive statement goes here.
