Not really in fact I hope she has never given it a chance! That way I can show her a couple of my favorites!!

If he/she dislikes anime, I wouldn't mind, as long he/she doesn't bash it or respects my love for it.

The answer is obvly no, but id prefer it. My ex and I didnt have very many things in common, but got along great. After so long when your interests dont match up the relationship goes stale. Thats why i am trying something different

While I don't think it's a requirement for a relationship, I think they're going to better understand you and your likes if you and your potential significant other share or at least have a good understanding of each others interests. I think a girl gamer is going to understand and appreciate her bf a lot more if she see's that he's a collector versus a more "typical" girl who probably detests the ideas of video games outside of something like Wii Sports or using a Kinect. One of my past relationships, my ex wasn't a very big gamer, but she LOVED reading and drawing. She could appreciate why I loved games as much as I do and I could understand why she had a big collection of books and manga.

No, as long as they are not rude about me liking it

I would say that the answer is no but it would be a huge plus. I would mean that they would have to at least accept that I am into anime considering I have a lot of merchandise, DVD's and whatnot so if they were not okay with it then the relationship might go into the wrong direction.

To answer truthfully no, but damn it would be great and as far as I'm concerned infinitely rare. I've yet to share anime anything with someone I've dated.
