Dark Lover

Random poem I wrote. e___e By the way, the rhyming goes a liddo liek this: Line 1 Line 2 Line 3 Line 1 Line 3 Line 2 Line 1 Thanks for taking your time to read this poem inspired by...that stalking pale-faced psycho. ~(ಠ⌣ಠ)~ DARK LOVER My dark lover comes to me every night Wrapped in gold and silver bells Crimson silks scatter the room Making me forget all thoughts of fright My instincts scream of my impending doom But I’m caught up in all his spells He’s always gone before the dawn of light. A beautiful corpse come to life A noble undead mesmerizing me Stealing my last breath as I try to take it in “I want you to be my beloved wife,” He whispers seductively against my skin Making me blind to everything I used to see His teeth at my throat like a knife. He has pale skin just like the moonlight His silky hair raven black like the dark His flesh is marble and cold to the touch I tumble into his arms at twilight I can’t help but want him so much Everything he kisses hits the mark And I am rendered helpless in the night. His name I can never seem to quite catch His embrace is more than I can take He’s like the dark of night swallowing me I raise my hands to try and snatch Everything left for me to try and be I’m lost in all the dreams he makes He makes us seem like the perfect match. I’m swallowed entirely by the lies As he lays upon my lips his final kiss He rips open my chest and finds my heart He ignores all of my pitiful attempts and tries He forces my body and soul to depart He makes it hard to resist the bliss And drowns out all my cries. My dark lover, a stranger he is My mind, body and soul are all broken The final blows are dealt with his very hands As I lay crippled to all of this The promises of imaginary lands My blood is the very token For him to make everything his.
